Hey Y'all!

Welcome and thanks for stopping by.

I’m Tess Kraft and I love creating K-2 literacy resources for busy teachers that are low-prep and engaging so that all students can learn to read.

Are you tired of searching Pinterest or TPT for fun and engaging activities for your students only to find that there’s tons of printing, cutting and laminating to do?

I totally get it! As a single mom of 3 I want to give my own children as much time as possible.

I want you to know I’m HERE for busy teachers like you with fun and engaging lessons and resources that are low prep created with busy teachers like you in mind!

No more late nights prepping and planning!

With my Masters in Literacy and training in LETRS I create resources that help ALL children learn to read.

Teaching children to read, diagnosing the roadblocks that are keeping them from reading, and formulating a plan to fix it and get them back on the path to reading success are what I do!

I have 20 years of teaching experience in every grade K-6 except third. Early literacy has my heart though.

I went on to get my Masters in Literacy so that I could be a Reading Specialist for my district. It was an excellent program with entire courses on Phonemic Awareness and Phonics! I learned so much and it was just the tip of the iceberg!

That is when I began studying structured literacy and the Science of Reading! Then I was lucky enough to get LETRS training through my district which was life changing! It validated everything I had been learning and solidified my passion for HOW to teach all children to read.

My point is if you’ve been teaching 5 years or 15 it’s not too late to learn and change your teaching to make it better for your students! And I’m here to help!

Wish you could chat with more K-2 teachers who use structured literacy to help ALL children learn to read?

Me too so I created a community for K-2 teachers and reading specialists to connect and grow together!
